When you’re advertising your SW page, you’ll need a way to convert social media followers into paying subscribers. Typically this is done with a link in the bio.
This is my current method as I’m only using social media to build an OnlyFans following. It’s simple, frictionless, and currently not being automatically flagged by social media moderation bots. You’ll have a link that looks like your stage name + .com (ohdearodette.com) and when clicked it will go directly to wherever you’re trying to lead your followers.
I’m using godaddy and I have a basic url redirect there.
You want as few clicks as humanly possible between this potential spender and your content. Your focus is 100% on your page and your content but this person’s focus is divided and you’re competing with thousands of other little bids for their attention in a world where the average human attention span is 8.25 seconds. Frankly I’m surprised I still have your attention. So let’s not direct these people from Instagram to a link tree to a landing page to your OnlyFans. The more choices you put between your potential customer and the product, the less likely you are to make a sale¹ and each click you’re putting between them and your page decreases the odds of a new subscriber²
